Our recent trip to California!

Our trip to California was really fun, the scenery was beautiful, and at our old church (the church of my childhood) had a youth rally, and over 40 people got saved! it was amazing, there was lots of special music then games and pizza afterwards, the games were really fun, one of them was all these balls on a table covered up with towels, then you have to go and throw the balls into the basket down below in record time, but what ya didn't know is that one of the "balls" was a head!
They put someone between the two tables, and covered their head with a towel, then when you throw the towel back it's really someone looking right at you!!! lol!!!

Yesterday's Soulwinning!

Well, I'm really sorry I have not posted much lately, we have been very busy: putting our pool up (My wonderful Dad got us a HUGE POOL, 12 X 30, and we've been having a blast), playing with horses, and meeting new friends!

Anyway, let me tell you about yesterday's soul winning:

We got to church ON TIME! everyone got paired up with a partner, then left church on the bus, we sang some songs on the bus then got dropped off at the locations that we were soul winning at, my partner and I got off the bus and started soul winning, we knocked many doors and no one was willing to talk to us, most were busy, not home, or eating dinner......while we were out knocking doors there was a boy (maybe 14?) on a skate board with his dog going down the street, well, we ended up going to his house, he had gone in for a minute then was coming out right when we walked up, so, I asked him if he went to church anywhere, he replied "No", then I asked him "If you died today, are you 100% sure you would go to heaven?" he chuckled and said "No", so I asked him if I could take a couple minutes and show him how he could be 100% sure, and he said "Okay", so I took him through the Plan of Salvation, after I was done I asked him if he believed everything I showed him, he said "Yes", and then I asked him if it was okay if I could pray with him before I left so that way he could be 100% he was going to heaven (I really deep down inside didn't think he let me pray with him:) but guess what??? he did and got saved right then, and when we were done praying I asked him where he was going when he died, he said "heaven" and I asked him why, and he said "Because I believe!", it was totally amazing, I then started explaining to him that he needed to go tell his friends what I had just told him, I asked him that if they were not saved and if they died where would they go, and he said "They will go to hell" I said "You don't want them to go there do you?" he said "No" so I told him that have has to go and tell them about Jesus too!

Today's soulwinning

Today I went soulwinning, it was sooooooo awesome! My soulwinning partner and I started knockin' the doors and didn't really have that much sucess, but then when we were turning onto the next road, two girls, 14 and 18 were jogging and so we decided to stop and talk to them, so my partner went up to them and invited them to church, and stuff, then she went into the plan of salvation and about 1/2 thru, the church bus came up to us and stopped, well, my partner didn't want to leave them there, so she told me and her daughter to get on the bus, and she would be there when she got done, so we did! and guess what, both of the girls got saved!!!!

What a wonderful day today was!!!

Our neighbors daughter came down from Oklahoma for a few weeks on vacation, and so they asked if they could ride their horse in our back-yard since it is fenced and empty, we said "Sure", so she and her dad came over, after they were done her dad introduced her to us, so we invited her to come over and spend some time with us, even go to church with us if she wanted too, suprisingly that Sunday evening her Dad called and said that she wanted to go with us, she seemed like she enjoyed then we told her that we were going soulwinning on Tuesday, she didn't know what that ment but she wanted to go anyways, I did try to witness to her on Sunday night, but she said that she wasen't intrested, but yesterday when we went with out church soulwinning, and she saw and heard me asking people "Are you 100% sure you would go to Heaven if you died" she thought it was really rude that I was asking people that question, my Dad was on the other side of the street with another soulwinner she walked to him asking him "Why are we doing this?" My Dad started explaining to her the plan of Salvation, and how important it is to make the decision to believe in Jesus and have the gift of Eternal Life before dying, so finally she did understand and when he asked her if she wanted to get saved, she readily said "Yes" and when we got back to the church building, she got her phone and called her brother to tell him that she got saved! And when we were putting away the remaining tracts that we did not use, she asked me if she could keep a couple to give to her parents so that way they could get saved too!

I am so excited for her!!!!!

My First Post

Hello Everyone, I hope you had a Happy Mothers Day, we sure did, here is what we did...

Well for the last 3-4 weeks I have been practicing the song "My Mothers Prayers" here are the words:

Verse 1:
I know that God is Mommys Friend cause they talk every day
I see her read God's Word and then I see her kneel to pray
One day I talked to Mommys Friend and asked him to forgive my sins
Thank you Jesus for a Mommy who can pray

Chorus:
My Mothers Prayers my Mothers love
Have led me to the God above
The God who sent his Son to die
That I might live with Him on high
Oh how I praise the Lord today
For teaching Mother how to pray
Lord bless this Mother who has prayed so much for me

Verse 2:
And through the years as I have grown
My Mom has always pray
I know at times her tears
Were all because I disobeyed
But as she prayed so faithfully
The Lord was helping me to see
The way to walk, and live for Him each day.

And now that I'm a Mother too
I love my baby boy

To guide his life and calm his fears
Lord teach me how to pray as Mother did for me

After church we went to a smoothie store and I bought a smoothie, I enjoyed it alot, Mom didn't want any except for a little bite from me;) After that we went to Sam's Club, and then to a swap meet, my shoes broke while we were walking so we HAD to get another pair of shoes for me:D
